Adopt-a-Spot Gardens

Help us keep the Fairgrounds blooming! Our Adopt-a-Spot Garden Program invites community groups, families, businesses, and individuals to “adopt” a garden space on the fairgrounds and make it shine. Whether it’s planting flowers, adding seasonal color, or simply keeping the area neat and welcoming, every adopted spot adds beauty and joy for all who visit.

Participants can showcase their creativity while giving back to the community, and helping with the beautification of our county fairgrounds. It’s a fun and rewarding way to leave your mark and help our fairgrounds grow!

The community uses the fairgrounds to walk and play year-round. One of the many ways we create beauty as a community is by adopting a garden at the El Dorado County Fair & Event Center and maintaining it year-round for all to appreciate. The gardens get judge quarterly. You can also enter your garden in the County Fair’s Adopt-a-Spot competition. Check the Competition Handbook in the spring for details.
