The El Dorado County Fair brings the community together each summer in Placerville with four days of exciting rides, live music, delicious food, livestock shows, exhibits, and fun for all ages. It’s a celebration of tradition, talent, and hometown spirit!
Share your creativity at the El Dorado County Fair by entering the still exhibit contests—whether it’s art, photography, crafts, baking, or gardening, there’s a place for everyone to showcase their talents!
The Livestock Show and Auction is a highlight of the El Dorado County Fair, showcasing the hard work, dedication, and skill of local youth exhibitors. 4-H and FFA members proudly present their market animals, demonstrating the responsibility and care that goes into raising quality livestock. The show culminates with the Junior Livestock Auction, where buyers can support these young exhibitors while taking home premium locally raised meat. It’s a tradition that celebrates agriculture, community, and the future of farming in El Dorado County.
